You have made one of the most important decisions of your life; the decision to marry the partner of your choice is indeed momentous.
This event should be celebrated with words that reflect who you are as a couple, they should be personal and have your family and friends feel privileged to share and witness this special day with you.
Whether you are a young couple or simply young at heart, whether you have children whom you would like to involve in your ceremony, whether you would like a traditional or contemporary ceremony, it is my commitment to work with you both to ensure lasting memories of this special event.
Ritual and ceremony are important aspects of our lives and are enhanced when wording and symbolism leave a lasting impression upon all who participate.
I ‘m centrally located and look forward to speaking personally with you at a time to suit both work and family commitments.
I immensely enjoy my work as a celebrant, helping people from all walks of life to celebrate the special events in their lives whether it be your wedding, commitment ceremony, baby naming or renewal of vows, all of these occasions serve to enrich my life too!
No matter what the occasion every milestone can be celebrated with words and symbolism.
This is my eldest son Greg and his beautiful bride Georgina.
Their wedding was unique as in the back ground you can see Croach Patrick or St Patrick's mountain in County Mayo Ireland. After a 2 and 1/2 hour climb to the summit they were married in a tiny white stone chapel.
Yes we all took it in turns to help carry dress, suit, shoes and boquet as this is a serious climb and we all had to be in climbing gear and boots.
Following the 2 hour decent we met at a typical Irish Pub for several much deserved Guinnesses followed by a formal reception in Westport in the evening.
The birth of a child is one of life's momentous ocassions and a name giving ceremony is a wonderful way of recognising this. You are now formally introducing your little one to the family. You will want to give this child mentors to help and guide him or her through life.
While Australian law at this time does not allow same sex couples to marry a commitment ceremony is just as meaningful to the couple concerned. The ceremonies I write are exactly the same as a wedding ceremony except that they do not have the legal content nor can I use the word wedding. To me they have all the elements of love and devotion declaired before family and friends and it's a privilege to make this day special for you both.
